The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with Craven Thompson & Associates, Inc. (CTA) to design plans for the undergrounding of overhead utilities (AT&T, Comcast and FPL) in Riviera Isles.
CTA employees will be performing inspections throughout the neighborhood to document the location of existing utilities at each property. Inspections will begin on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, and is expected to be completed by Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Inspections will take place Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
What to Expect
CTA employees need a completed Existing Utility Information Form for each property.
Neighbors can review the form and start filling it out independently. A CTA employee will visit each property to pick it up or help finish it on-site. Neighbors don’t have to be home for the inspection, but CTA staff may need access to secured exterior areas. Neighbors who aren’t home during the day and can’t provide access may complete the Existing Utility Information Form and email it to thall@craventhompson.com.
Neighborhood Impacts
- No impacts to traffic or driveways are expected while these inspections are underway.
- CTA employees will have proper identification as they visit each property in the neighborhood.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and thank our neighbors for cooperation as we prepare for the start of this project.
