The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with FG Construction to apply decorative stamped asphalt to crosswalks at the following intersections along Sistrunk Boulevard / NW 6th Street between NW 7th Avenue and NW 22nd Road in Progresso Village, Historic Dorsey Riverbend, Home Beautiful Park, Durrs and River Garden Sweeting Estates:

• NW 7th Avenue
• NW 12th Avenue
• NW 14th Avenue
• NW 14th Terrace
• NW 16th Avenue
• NW 20th Avenue
• NW 22nd Road
• NW 22nd Avenue

Construction will begin on Monday, December 15, 2025, and is expected to be completed on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Work will take place overnight Sunday through Thursday evenings between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. beginning at NW 7th Avenue and heading west toward NW 22nd Avenue. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

This project is funded through a Community Development Block Grant. This federal grant program is administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and supports activities to build stronger and more resilient communities

• One lane in each direction of each intersection may be closed overnight during work hours.
• Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
• Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
• Temporary lights will be used to illuminate the work area. The contractor will take measures to reduce light impacts for surrounding neighbors.
