Crews completed the repair overnight. Roadway restoration has been completed, and all lanes of E. Commercial Boulevard are open as of 5 a.m.

City crews are responding to a water leak near 1781 E. Commercial Boulevard in Coral Ridge Isles. Exploratory digging and necessary repairs will begin tonight, Thursday, January 29, at 9 p.m.

Traffic Impacts:

• One westbound lane of E. Commercial Boulevard will be closed between NE 18th Avenue and NE 17th Avenue. Two westbound lanes will remain open in the area.
• The right turn lane into the Shoppes at 18th & Commercial will be closed. Right turns into the plaza will be permitted from the nearest through lane.

Drivers should follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.

All lanes are expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Friday, January 30. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
