The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with FG Construction to resurface the westbound lanes of State Road 84 approaching SW 3rd Avenue in Poinciana Park and Croissant Park following the recent repair of a water main in the area. This project includes:

• Milling and resurfacing asphalt
• Applying new temporary pavement markings

Construction will begin overnight on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 9 p.m. and is expected to be completed on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 5 a.m. New permanent pavement markings will be applied during an overnight operation with temporary lane closures in approximately 30 days. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Impacts

• One westbound lane of State Road 84 between S. Andrews Avenue and SW 3rd Avenue will be closed overnight during work hours.
  
• Two westbound lanes of State Road 84 will remain open in the area.
  
• Access to driveways will be maintained.
• Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
