The City of Fort Lauderdale is committed to helping our neighbors support one another during the COVID-19 crisis. One of the ways the City can do this is by offering traffic control support to community and faith-based organizations that want to distribute food and essential items to neighbors in need.
If you would like to prevent traffic-related issues at your distribution event, the City encourages you to complete the form below. Providing some basic details about your distribution event will assist the City with assigning the appropriate number of certified personnel to manage and facilitate a smooth, organized flow of traffic during your event. Organizations are encouraged to notify the City about their distribution events as soon as possible. Resources will be assigned based on traffic impact and availability.
To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the City encourages food distribution organizers to follow the recommended social distancing guidelines and wear recommended personal protective equipment when distributing items to our neighbors.
