The CRA along with private sector builders acquired 35-50 new single family homes. Supporting activities included entryway and street improvements. The model row home project located in the Dorsey Riverbend neighborhood was initiated in 2002 by the CRA, in partnership with the City of Fort Lauderdale Office of Housing and Community Development.Together they purchased 16 lots, creating the focal point that showcased the potential for infill development.

Bob Young Builders was involved in previous Sistrunk Boulevard CRA Façade program business improvement. The Six participants were Bob Young Builders, Cone Plaza, The Negro Chamber, Burrows Electric Company, The JAB Building, and Walker Grocery.
