Fire Rescue Clerical Support Services are adequately trained staff who efficiently and effectively conduct and manage the agency’s administrative functions, such as organizational planning and assessment, resource coordination, data analysis/research, records keeping, reporting, fee collections, business communications, public interaction, and purchasing.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue (FLFR) is structured in such a manner which allows the Clerical Support Service to carry out the department’s mission. Each support service person is assigned to a Bureau, in which they report to/work directly with a Chief. An Office Manager oversees the staff of nine (9) personnel and runs the administrative aspects of FLFR.
FLFR has a strong commitment to providing positive public interaction through its policies, media relations, social media and public education.
