Organizational Development & Learning
The Organizational Development & Learning division is responsible for designing, creating, and implementing learning and organizational development efforts to further the mission of the City of Fort Lauderdale.
In addition to offering traditional training opportunities, we continually look for ways to bring learning to our workforce in unique and creative modes. As part of our commitment to ongoing employee development, we have a variety of resources to enable our employees to improve their skills, knowledge, and abilities based on their unique needs. In support of such initiatives, the City of Fort Lauderdale has partnered with a variety of higher education institutions to offer employees continuing education opportunities to sharpen their professional skills and accelerate their career.
Through our onboarding process, we ensure that employees are engaged early and often and get the support they need to quickly learn the operation of the City. Our onboarding does not end at New Employee Orientation. We continually seek opportunities to help new employees feel welcomed, engaged, and part of the City of Fort Lauderdale family.
