Mills Pond Park Pavilion Rentals

The pavilions can host 15-20 people. There is no water access or electrical outlets. DJ's & amplified music are not permitted. You are welcome to bring a small radio. Six pavilions are available one a first come first serve at Mills Pond Park. The pavilion hours are 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Each pavilion has picnic tables and a permanent grill. Pavilion 1 and 2 are near the large children's playground structure located between them.  Pavilions 3-6 are located adjacent to a large body of water.

If you would like to have a bounce house at your party, please contact the Parks & Recreation main office at 954-828-7275 for a list of approved bounce house vendors. Liability insurance naming the City of Fort Lauderdale as additionally insured is required for any bounce house rental.


Mills Pond Park Assembly Hall Rentals

We currently have a hall available for party rentals. The capacity is 120 people. The hall contains 12 round tables, 3 rectangular tables, and 120 chairs. All rentals must be cleaned up and end by 11:00 p.m. Therefore, we recommend you end your party at 10:30 p.m. allocating the last 30 minutes to cleaning up. The Assembly Hall is not available on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.

Assembly Hall Alcohol Requirements


Selling Alcohol: The lessee must use a licensed vendor. The vendor must provide a copy of their Liquor License, as well as Liquor Liability Insurance in the amount of one million dollars that names the City of Fort Lauderdale as additionally insured 14 business days prior to the event.


The lessee must hire a park ranger or detail police officer during the rental period. The lessee must pay the anticipated expense in advance. The park ranger fee is $30/hour. Police detail is arranged through the police department. Evidence of such must be presented to the City prior to the date of rental.


To ensure that the facility is cleaned properly, the lessee will hire City staff or the City's contracted vendor to clean up after the event. The lessee must pay this fee in advance, in addition to the trash/damage deposit required. The cleaning fee is $80.
