Each summer, the City of Fort Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department proudly presents the Starlight Musicals concert series sponsored by Bank of America. These free outdoor concerts have provided a great way to enjoy the summer with family and friends. The series features an exciting line up of bands and takes place on Fridays from 7 to 10 p.m. on the football field at Holiday Park, located at East Sunrise Boulevard and Federal Highway. Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets, and coolers. We look forward to seeing you out there this summer!
No Smoking Zone
In order to accommodate all of our guests we will continue with our No Smoking Zone this year, which is located on the south side of the field.
Non-Profit Awareness & Food Drives
Each week, Bank of America features a non-profit group to raise awareness of their program and goals. We also collect food donations for people and animals in need. Please help Bank of America support these worthy causes. Our goal is to surpass last year’s totals. If every person brought a food item each week, think of the impact we could make! Let’s try for 2,000 items. Non-perishable food donations will benefit The Pantry of Broward and Life Net 4 Families. Pet food donations will benefit Abandoned Pet Rescue.
Recycle easily and proudly at Starlight Musicals. Recycling bins will be provided throughout the park and the “Recycling Rangers” will be roaming with their wagons.
Please remember to lock your vehicle and never leave valuables inside.
We will continue to have our Tent-Free Zone. Canopies, tents and umbrellas are only permitted in the designated areas along the back and sides of the football field.
