November 2019 Update
Construction is underway. Phase I is complete, all utility lines have been relocated. The contractor is in the process of relocating the underground force main.
Demolition of the existing bridge is scheduled to begin in December 2019.
Construction is expected to take 12 months to complete. Weather permitting, work is expected to take place on weekdays from
7 a.m. to 5 p.m. We will notify neighbors in advance if any weekend work is planned to keep the project on schedule.
We plan to keep one lane of traffic open on the bridge throughout construction. There may be instances in which we need to block the bridge roadway for a short period of time. We will do our best to minimize any inconvenience to neighbors.
Please check back for project updates.
