Fort Lauderdale Beach Mobility Study

Print

The Fort Lauderdale Beach Mobility Study seeks to gain a better understanding of mobility, or how people get around utilizing all modes of transportation, within the beach communities. The Study will focus primarily on the barrier island south of Sunrise Boulevard and north of the Port Everglades Inlet.

This page will provide updates on the development of the plan and include opportunities for Fort Lauderdale neighbors to provide input on the plan and the most critical areas of focus.

Input received through the Beach Mobility Study will result in a ranking of proposed projects along with funding and implementation mechanisms.

Take a short survey

The survey has been closed. The survey results have been collected and will inform the Beach Mobility Study moving forward.

Map Your Improvement Ideas

To solicit a variety of information in a more engaging format, the Transportation & Mobility Department utilized an innovative mapping tool called Wikimap. WikiMapping allows anyone to enter information related to mobility including opportunities and needs for elements related to sidewalks, bike lanes, traffic signals, stop signs, crosswalks, areas of frequent congestion, or any other opportunity or issue you may feel is present. Although the Wikimap poll is closed for submissions, submitted comments may still be reviewed by visiting the link below.
