The Las Olas Mobility Study was created in 2013 to provide recommendations to address the traffic circulation, safety, multi-modal mobility, and quality-of-life issues along the Las Olas Boulevard Corridor from SE 11th Avenue to the Intracoastal Waterway Bridge, including the Colee Hammock neighborhood.

Primary goals of the study were to manage travel speeds, provide for bike and pedestrian mobility options, assess general safety issues, reduce delay for drivers along SE 15th Avenue, reduce cut-through traffic in Colee Hammock, manage traffic during special events, and reduce truck traffic on Las Olas west of the study area.
