Mr. Hausy has over twenty years of diversified audit, accounting, and
finance experience in both the public and private sectors.
Prior to coming to the City of Fort Lauderdale, he worked in Audit and Management Services (AMS) for Miami-Dade County, Florida. Prior to working for Miami-Dade County, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers AG in Investment Management and Real Estate (IMRE) Assurance in Zurich, Switzerland. In addition, he started his career working for Deloitte & Touché LLP in Audit and Enterprise Risk Services (AERS) out of the South Florida offices.
Mr. Hausy earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Statistics from the University of Florida, while also serving in the United States Naval Reserves. In addition, Mr. Hausy earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in International Business and Finance and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting from the University of North Florida.
Jonathan Frisard - Assistant City Auditor III
Mr. Frisard is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Mr. Frisard graduated the University of Florida with master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting and has 10+ years of experience performing financial and operational audits from both external and internal perspectives, mostly in an audit management capacity. Audited industries include food and beverage, insurance, and government.
Mrs. Davis is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Mrs. Davis has over seventeen years of diversified audit, accounting, and finance experience in the private sector.
Prior to coming to the City of Fort Lauderdale, she worked as the Director of Audit for Everon (formerly ADT Commercial). Prior to working for Everon, she worked for Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager of Enterprise Risk in Boca Raton, Florida. In addition, she started her career working for LerroSarbey and Protiviti in the Internal Audit & Financial Services practice out of the Fort Lauderdale office.
Mrs. Davis has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Campbell University. In addition, Mrs. Davis earned a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) from East Carolina University.
Mrs. Acevedo, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Inspector General Auditor (CIGA), joined the team in 2026. Mrs. Acevedo has over twenty-five years of diversified audit, accounting, and finance experience in public and private sectors as well as Fortune 500 corporations.
Mrs. Acevedo has worked with clients across a wide variety of industries, including investment firms, insurance, risk management consulting, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, public education and universities.
Mrs. Acevedo earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Business Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Mr. Dengel is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over five years of experience in assurance, accounting, and internal controls. He has served a broad range of clients, from Fortune 500 corporations and private equity firms to state and local governments.
Prior to joining the City of Fort Lauderdale in 2025, Mr. Dengel held assurance roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Ernst & Young (EY), and Berkowitz Pollack Brant. He has worked with clients across a wide variety of industries, including real estate, construction, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and energy—covering both oil and gas and renewable sectors.
Mr. Dengel earned both a Master of Science (MS) in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Houston.
