Biometric Screening Surcharges for the 2026 Plan Year

  • Biometric screenings MUST be completed by employees, spouses, and domestic partners by December 31 to avoid a surcharge in Plan Year 2026.
  • Biometric screenings will remain a required activity for eligible employees who wish to participate in the City's voluntary Wellness Incentive Program (WIP) in order to receive the $500 incentive.
  • Employees and covered spouses/domestic partners are encouraged to complete a biometric screening annually so they can be alerted of potential medical issues and to seek appropriate intervention to improve their health and well-being.
