The Beach Business Improvement District’s (BBID) Event Grant Program is designed to support events and activations on Fort Lauderdale Beach in the general boundaries along State Road A1A between Sunrise Boulevard to the north and Harbor Drive to the south.
The FY 2027 Beach Business Improvement District (BBID) Event Grant Program provides reimbursable funding for events that:
- Attract visitors from outside the local area
- Increase overnight hotel stays
- Generate measurable economic impact
- Enhance the Fort Lauderdale Beach experience
This program supports both new and established events that help position Fort Lauderdale Beach as a premier destination.
Funding is performance-based and requires documented outcomes such as attendance, visitor origin, and lodging impact
The intent of the Reimbursable Grants Program is to support event organizers by offsetting parts of the event costs through reimbursements.
Please note that funding is contingent upon City Commission approval.
