The City of Fort Lauderdale is designing and constructing the following drainage infrastructure within the Durrs Neighborhood: drainage pipe and structures, exfiltration trench, water quality structures, water & sewer line relocations, pavement and swale improvements. This project is partially grant funded by the Florida Department of Commerce (FDOC).
As of February 2025, the project contractor, Man-Con Inc., has completed all stormwater infrastructure installation, existing stormwater infrastructure repairs and restoration activities within the project area. Overall, the contractor has installed 332 drainage structures, over 30,000 linear feet of drainage pipe, lined over 11,000 linear feet of existing drainage pipe and reconstructed more than 81,000 square yards of swales as part of the project.
