Fortify Lauderdale is a citywide initiative to improve resilience to flooding and other climate impacts in Fort Lauderdale. As part of this initiative, the City is working to encourage resilience measures among private property owners. Resilience is the ability to prepare for anticipated natural hazards, adapt to changing conditions, and withstand and recover rapidly from disruptions. Resilience across the city requires action on both public and private property.
