April 17 Attended the ribbon cutting for the grand opening of the Steelpan Restaurant.
April 24 I joined Vice Mayor McKinzie, the Florida Department of Transportation and our neighbors at the unveiling of a State Historical Marker at Woodlawn Cemetery.
April 241 A moving ceremony in remembrance of the our 12 police officers who gave their lives in service to Fort Lauderdale.
April 28 The grand opening of The Dal Mar Hotel by The Wurzak Group.
May 1 Thank you so very much to the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society/History Fort Lauderdale for the honor.
May 1. Hats off to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department for beginning a reading program last year at Walker Elementary.

May 8 The demolition ceremony at Lockhart Stadium. Terrifically excited crowd eagerly awaiting the opening InterMiami game in March 2020!
May 10 We are blessed to have the Boys and Girls Clubs providing services in our community. Thank you to Messrs. Godart, Gentile, and Edwards for arranging my tour at the Nan Knox site where 826 youth were served last year.
May 17 International Swimming Hall of Fame's 55th Annual Honoree Induction Ceremony which pays tribute to the great aquatic athletes.
May 22 Celebrated the accomplishments of our Fort Lauderdale students in academics, arts, and athletics.
May 27 Memorial Day Ceremony at the Sandy Nininger Statue on the Riverwalk. We remember those who died for our freedom and liberty.
June 13 Elected officials and supporters from throughout the County gathered in advance of Pride Parade and Festival marking the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall.
