Alley Asphalt Improvement Project in Lake Ridge

The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with M&M Asphalt Maintenance, Inc. to resurface the alley between NE 9th Avenue and NE 10th Avenue from NE 12th Street to NE 11th Street in Lake Ridge. This project includes:

• Milling and resurfacing asphalt
• Applying temporary pavement markings

Traffic & Parking Impacts

• Lane Closures: Surrounding streets will remain open during construction. Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed when construction equipment navigates in the area to access the alley.
• Parking: Parking within the alley will be unavailable during work hours

Schedule & Hours

• Timeline: Monday, November 9 – Monday, November 30, 2026 
• Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Upcoming Work: Permanent pavement markings will be applied with temporary lane closures in approximately 30 days.
• This schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.

What to Expect

• Intermittent noise: Heavy machinery, equipment and backup safety alarm noise.
• Safety: Please use caution, drive slowly and follow all posted signs.
