Hendricks Isle Concrete Improvement Project

The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with FG Construction to make improvements to concrete infrastructure along Hendricks Isle. This project includes restoring existing concrete within valley gutters between roadway asphalt and grassy swales.

Traffic & Parking Impacts

• Temporary lane closures are expected along Hendricks Isle daily during work hours.
• Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
• Neighbors are asked to refrain from parking on the street along Hendricks Isle daily during work hours.
• Access to driveways will be maintained unless work is taking place in the immediate area across from the driveway. Crews will attempt to coordinate with neighbors prior to the start of concrete operations that will impact driveway access.

Schedule & Hours

• Timeline: Monday, November 2 – Thursday, December 31, 2026
• Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• This schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.

• Intermittent noise: Heavy machinery, equipment and backup safety alarm noise.
• Safety: Please use caution, drive slowly and follow all posted signs.
