The City of Fort Lauderdale and David Mancini & Sons, Inc. are making improvements to the stormwater system at the southern end of the NE 21st Terrace cul-de-sac in Coral Shores. This project includes:

  • Replacing an existing 12-inch stormwater pipe with a new 15-inch pipe
  • Installing a new catch basin
  • Installing a new tidal valve
  • Restoring impacted asphalt and landscaping

Construction will begin on Monday, June 15, 2026, and is expected to be completed by Friday, July 3, 2026. Work will take place Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Impacts

  • The southbound lane of NE 21st Terrace south of Coral Shores Drive may be closed daily during work hours.
  • Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
  • Access to driveways will be maintained unless work is taking place in the immediate area across from the driveway. Crews will attempt to coordinate with neighbors prior to the start of operations that will impact driveway access.
  • Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and thank our neighbors for their patience during construction.
