Schedule & Hours

  • Timeline: Monday, August 3, 2026 – February 2027
  • Hours: Mon. – Fri., 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Note: Schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.

What to Expect

  • Intermittent noise: Neighbors should expect noise from heavy machinery, equipment and backup safety alarms.
  • Dusty conditions: Construction activities such as asphalt removal and drainage excavation will be required throughout the project site, which may create dust.

Traffic Impacts

  • NW 5th Avenue: One lane in each direction may be closed daily during work hours. Temporary full closures of NW 5th Avenue may be necessary for some construction operations. The contractor will coordinate access with local businesses.
  • Sistrunk Boulevard & NW 7th Street: Lane closures are possible at the NW 5th Avenue intersection during active corner work.
  • Driveways: Access will be maintained unless active construction is occurring directly opposite a driveway, in which case crews will coordinate locally beforehand.
  • Safety: Traffic control personnel will direct traffic near the work area. Please follow posted signs and drive with caution.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and thank our neighbors for their patience during construction.
