Seminole Drive Stormwater Improvements Project

Published on June 17, 2026

The City of Fort Lauderdale and Southeastern Engineering Contractors are making improvements to the stormwater system at the eastern end of the Seminole Drive cul-de-sac in Coral Ridge. This project includes:

  • Replacing one catch basin
  • Replacing an existing 12-inch stormwater pipe with a new 18-inch pipe
  • Installing two manholes
  • Restoring impacted asphalt and landscaping

Construction will begin on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, and is expected to be completed in mid-August 2026. Work will take place Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Impacts

  • The westbound lane of Seminole Drive at the end of the cul-de-sac may be closed daily during work hours.
  • Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
  • Access to driveways will be maintained unless work is taking place in the immediate area across from the driveway. Crews will attempt to coordinate with neighbors prior to the start of operations that will impact driveway access.
  • Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and thank our neighbors for their patience during construction.
