The Landings Asphalt Improvement Project

The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with M&M Asphalt Maintenance, Inc. to make improvements to asphalt throughout The Landings. This project includes:

• Milling and resurfacing asphalt
• Applying new temporary pavement markings

Traffic & Parking Impacts

• Lane Closures: One lane in each direction of roads within the work area may be closed during work hours.
• Parking: Neighbors are asked to refrain from parking along roads within the work area during work hours.
• Driveways: Access will be maintained unless work is taking place in the immediate area across from the driveway. Crews will attempt to coordinate with neighbors prior to the start of asphalt operations that will impact driveway access.
• Safety: Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed. Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.

Schedule & Hours

• Timeline: Monday, November 9 – Monday, November 30, 2026 
• Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Upcoming Work: Permanent pavement markings will be applied with temporary lane closures in approximately 30 days.
• This schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.

What to Expect

• Intermittent noise: Heavy machinery, equipment and backup safety alarm noise.
• Safety: Please use caution, drive slowly and follow all posted signs.
