Traffic Alert: June 19–21, 2026
Please be advised that heavy traffic is expected near the Broward County Convention Center during the Balling on the Beach Basketball Tournament.
The event is expected to attract approximately 50,000 attendees over the weekend, resulting in increased traffic in the surrounding area. Law enforcement officers will be on-site to assist with traffic management.
Drivers are encouraged to use the Convention Center Connector, which provides a direct route from Federal Highway (US-1), SR 84, and SE 17th Street into the Convention Center and Port Everglades.
Please allow extra travel time when traveling near the Convention Center.
