Traffic Advisory: Liquid Youth Fort Lauderdale Running Festival Nov. 8

The 20th Annual Liquid Youth Fort Lauderdale Running Festival will take place on Sunday, November 8, in Fort Lauderdale.

ROAD CLOSURES

The following traffic advisory will be in effect.

From 4 to 11:30 a.m.:

• Las Olas Boulevard will be closed from A1A to Seabreeze Boulevard
• One eastbound lane of Las Olas Boulevard will be closed from Seabreeze to Andrews Avenue
• One southbound lane of Seabreeze Boulevard will be closed from Las Olas Boulevard to Mayan Drive until 7:15 a.m. Afterwards, counterflow will start for northbound and southbound traffic.
• Both northbound lanes of A1A will be closed from Mayan Drive to Oakland Park Boulevard

From 5:30 to 7 a.m.:

• SE 3rd Avenue will be closed from Broward Boulevard to SW 6th Street
• Andrews Avenue will be closed from Broward Boulevard to SW 6th Street

RACE ROUTE

• Starts at Brickell Avenue (SW 1st Avenue) north of SW 2nd Street
• East on Las Olas Boulevard to Poinciana Drive
• South on Poinciana Drive and loop north onto Idlewyld Drive
• East on Las Olas Boulevard to Seabreeze Boulevard
• South on Seabreeze Boulevard to turnaround at SE 23rd Ave (Harbor Inlet Drive)
• North on A1A in northbound lanes to NE 30th Street
• South on A1A in the northbound median lane to Las Olas Boulevard
•  West on Las Olas Boulevard to finish lane just before Seabreeze Boulevard
