Effective immediately, the City of Fort Lauderdale is lifting the precautionary advisory for water-related recreational activities within the following boundaries:
The precautionary advisory was issued on Saturday, August 22, 2026, following an overflow in a nearby sanitary sewer manhole. Water sampling in the affected area has demonstrated that the waterway meets the State’s surface water quality standards.
