East Las Olas Blvd Bridge Reopening Update
The East Las Olas Boulevard Bridge is now anticipated to reopen on Thursday, August 6, at 8 a.m.
When the bridge reopens, drivers should expect a new traffic pattern. Traffic will be reduced from two lanes to one lane in each direction, with all vehicles shifted to the north side of the bridge.
This temporary traffic configuration is part of the Florida Department of Transportation’s ongoing East Las Olas Boulevard Bridge rehabilitation project and is expected to remain in place through late fall 2026.
Pedestrian access will be available on the north sidewalk. The south sidewalk will be closed.
Drivers should use caution and follow posted signs. This schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.

Please be advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will temporarily close the East Las Olas Boulevard Bridge as part of the ongoing bridge rehabilitation project.
Monday, August 3, 8:00 p.m. - Wednesday, August 5, 8:00 p.m.
The bridge will be fully closed to vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians for 48 hours. No traffic will be permitted to cross. Emergency services will not be affected during this time. Marine traffic will not be impacted.
Detour signage will be in place. Drivers should follow posted signs and expect delays.
