Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) - Healthcare & Dependent Care

TASC

Effective January 1st, 2025, TASC is the administrator for both the Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA. New FSA enrollees will be provided with a new benefits debit card from TASC for use for eligible expenses incurred in plan year 2026.

The maximum election for Health Care FSA for 2026 is $3,400.

The maximum election for Dependent Care FSA for 2026 is $7,500.

The dependent care expenses must be work-related. The care must be necessary for the employee and/or the employee’s spouse to work, to look for work, or to attend school full-time, or if they are physically unable to care for their children. The dependent care expenses provided during a calendar year cannot exceed $7,500. In the case of a separate return by a married individual, the limit is $3,750. This amount may be less if the employee’s earned income or spouse’s earned income is less than $7,500.
