Development Applications, Boards and Committees
Applications must be uploaded by close of business on date of the meeting date's deadline (meeting dates and deadlines are provided on each board or committee page linked below) through the City’s online portal LauderBuild. The Urban Design Planning Division reviews all applications to determine completeness within five business days. Applicants will be notified, via email, if plans do not meet the submittal requirements or if changes are required.
Prior to formal submittal of a Development Review Committee application, applicants are required to schedule a preliminary meeting appointment with the Urban Design Planning Division team to obtain initial feedback regarding any subject proposals. This no cost, preliminary meeting provides applicants with an opportunity to get feedback and general direction, before expending significant effort and resources on design and preparation of submittal documents.
Preliminary Development Meetings must be requested through LauderBuild. Once a request has been submitted, staff will contact you with date and time options. Preliminary Development Meetings occur in-person, with an option for a virtual meeting upon request. Please note that there is no fee for the first meeting, however a fee will be charged for any additional meetings thereafter. Please view the Preliminary Development Meeting Request Guide(PDF, 571KB) for details.
