Floodplain Management Plan

The objective of floodplain management planning is to develop an overall strategy of programs, projects, and measures that will reduce the adverse impact of the flood hazard on the community. The City of Fort Lauderdale participates in the Broward County Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS) program that includes floodplain management planning countywide.
