Prior to formal submittal of a Development Review Committee (DRC) application, applicants are requested to schedule a preliminary meeting appointment with Urban Design and Planning Division to obtain initial feedback regarding any application The preliminary meeting provides applicants with an opportunity to obtain feedback and general direction, prior to expending significant effort and resources on design and preparation of submittal documents To schedule a preliminary development meeting, please complete the Preliminary Development Meeting Request Form and staff will provide you with date and time options There is no cost for the initial preliminary meeting.

The City has revised the development review application and documents. There are four components that are intended to assist applicants with the submittal of a development application Only one component is required for submittal, the Application Form(PDF, 1MB) which must be filled out accurately and completely as it pertains to the project type, request, and proposed development Note it is no longer necessary to submit separate development applications for each stage of the review process

Historic Designation Application

Utilize the Historic Designation Application(PDF, 381KB) and follow instructions outlined to apply for the historic designation of an individual structure or district. Designation applications may be initiated by a motion of the Historic Preservation Board, a motion of the City Commission, the property owner(s), or a non-profit organization with a recognized interest in historic preservation.
