Capital Improvement Plan

Previously referred to as the Community Investment Plan, beginning with FY 2027 the City of Fort Lauderdale will utilize Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) when referring to the City's long-term capital plans and projects. We have made every effort to make this book as easy as possible to read, but we understand how difficult it can be to find what you are looking for in such a complex document. To make your search easier we have provided a number of tools to help you get what you need. The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) consists of seven (7) major sections: Introduction and Overview, Funding by Cylinders of Excellence, Fund Summaries, Capital Improvement Plan, Project Applications by Funding Source, Multimodal Connectivity Plan and Glossary and Acronyms.
