1. Full legal name – Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency - Northwest Progresso Flagler Heights Community Redevelopment Area
2. Public Purpose - To eliminate slum and blighting conditions to promote the rehabilitation, conservation and redevelopment as established in the Northwest Progresso Flagler Heights Redevelopment Plan
3. 4. Services provided - Identify and develop plans and activities designed to eliminate and prevent the spread of blighting conditions and to develop workable programs to aid in its rehabilitation, conservation, and redevelopment
5. Delegation of Authority issued to the City Commission of the City of Fort Lauderdale:
   1. Delegation of Authority by Board Commissioners of Broward County (BCC) to the City of Fort Lauderdale on April 11, 1989 by Resolution 89-1132(PDF, 63KB) to exercise all those powers conferred upon local governments by the Community Redevelopment Act of 1969, as amended for program operating within the corporate limits subject to review and approval by BCC of the City’s Community Redevelopment Plan and any amendments thereto
   2. The City Commission declares the Northwest Progresso Flagler Heights area blighted and appoints itself to be the Community Redevelopment Agency for the Northwest Progresso Flagler Heights Community Redevelopment Area on June 20, 1995 by Resolution 95-86(PDF, 238KB)
