Yes, live training hours are every Wednesday at 11:00 AM Pacific / Noon Mountain / 1:00 PM Central / 2:00 PM Eastern.

Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce is the largest and oldest business organization in Broward County. Established in 1910, the Chamber has a membership base of 1,252 companies that employ more than 500,000 employees. The Chamber is committed to serving the business community and helping promote future economic growth and development in South Florida. To that end, we provide members with a host of networking opportunities. In addition to weekly, monthly and annual events, we currently work with seven "leads groups," which connect businesses and individuals with prospective clients. The Chamber takes an active role in issues affecting the Greater Fort Lauderdale area, such as sea level rise and coastal resiliency, community-based real estate, regionalism and access to capital. We also take a delegation to Capitol Hill to urge lawmakers to take action on an assortment of action items every two years in our Washington Summit trip.

Visit Lauderdale

Created by the Board of Broward County Commissioners in 1987, Visit Lauderdale - previously known as the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau (GFLCVB) - is a governmental agency funded by a portion of the tax on hotel rooms. Downtown Development Authority (DDA)

The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is an independent taxing district established by the Florida State Legislature in 1965. Led by a seven-member appointed board of directors, the Fort Lauderdale DDA has spearheaded legacy projects over the past fifty years to ensure Downtown is and remains the urban center of Broward County. Collaborating with public and private stakeholders the DDA continues to serve as the agency responsible for coordinating and facilitating continued investment, community engagement, and consistent improvement in Downtown Fort Lauderdale.

SBDC/FAU

The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) offers high-level consulting and training to small and medium-sized businesses in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The Florida SBDC at FAU has access to robust databases, business research resources and knowledgeable expert consultants who can help business owners and entrepreneurs successfully navigate the obstacles that come with the stages of the business life cycle, providing no-cost specialized services to fit their needs.
